Their Story

Founded in 1999 by Harry Morton, the first Pink Taco opened in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe. A hotspot for locals, celebrities, and tourists, Pink Taco’s inviting ambiance, lively music, and delectable Mexican fare quickly grew in popularity. And it wasn’t long after, the restaurant expanded into New York, Boston, Washington D. C., and West Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip. Since then, Pink Taco has become a beloved destination for Angelenos and visitors alike, known for their lively lunch and dinner, Taco Tuesday, Happy Hour, and weekend bottomless brunch.

Pink Taco Turns 25!

The anniversary party featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony, signature cocktails, and a make-your-own piñata bar. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. The wait staff passed around a delectable array of bites including Ceviche, Beef Empanadas, and Street Corn. We enjoyed a Nacho Bar complete with all the fixings and a Pink Pancake bar featuring mouthwatering Pink Churro Pancakes, Fresh Fruit, and Syrup. It was then time for the main event: the Tacos!

Tacos!

Pink Taco’s signature tacos did not disappoint. We indulged in a variety of options, including the classic Steak Taco, flavorful Shrimp Taco, Cauliflower Taco, and the OG Pink Taco, made with chicken tinga, pickled red onion, shredded iceberg, avocado salsa, jack cheese, and a crispy pink corn tortilla. And for dessert, I couldn’t resist trying the Pink Fried Ice Cream and Tres Leches Churros.
