Whether you’re planning a romantic date night or a celebratory dinner with friends, the Mastro’s restaurant name offers an unparalleled culinary adventure.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Beverly Hills location and indulging in the restaurant’s latest offerings, and I can confidently say it was a feast for the senses.

Best Seafood Dishes in Los Angeles

As a seafood lover, my taste buds love Mastro’s for its selection of mouthwatering ocean delights. My favorite new seafood dish is the Jerk Spiced Mahi Mahi with Mango Butter Sauce. I was hesitant at first because I typically order the Sea Bass, but I was curious about this new dish. On the 5-star recommendation of the waitress, I went with the Mahi Mahi and was blown away. It was a refreshing and unexpected delight, combining bold flavors with tropical sweetness, that showcased the executive chef’s ability to blend flavors seamlessly. The other new seafood dish that I tried was the Jumbo Prawn. This was an add-on from my friend’s steak. Savory, flavorful and perfectly seasoned, it was a succulent masterpiece that was nothing short of extraordinary.

Juicy, Tender Steak

When dining at a world-renowned steakhouse, one must order a steak. And for those who want the ultimate experience, you need to order the Dry-Aged Ribeye. Meticulously aged in a controlled environment, allowing the steak’s natural enzymes to break down connective tissues, the result is an intense flavor and melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. My friend opted for the evening’s special, a 22 oz. Dry-Aged Ribeye which she said was, “juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection.”

Signature Sides

To complement the entrées, we paired our dishes with two of Mastro’s signature sides, the Maguro Lime Sushi Roll and Sautéed Spinach. The Maguro Lime Sushi Roll was delicious. It had a nice kick to it, and a zesty burst of fresh flavor. This paired nicely with the Sautéed Spinach, topped with garlic, salt, and lemon juice.

A Sweet Ending

And just when you think Mastro’s can’t get any better, you must remember to save room for dessert. In honor of the season, we chose the fluffy Strawberry Butter Cake for our decadent finale. Picture this, a warm gooey butter cake, topped with warm strawberries and fresh whipped cream. Talk about the perfect way to close out a scrumptious evening.
