KA’TEEN Debuts Brunch Service for Cinco de Mayo Weekend

KA’TEEN, Hollywood’s beloved Yucatan-inspired restaurant by Chef Wes Avila, is pleased to announce that Cinco de Mayo weekend will mark the debut of a brand new, high-energy brunch service with updated menu items and a curated music program that will see DJ performances every Saturday within the al-fresco space. A staple in the Los Angeles culinary scene, KA’TEEN will introduce a new menu with specialty dishes such as the Breakfast Quesadilla and Strawberry Concha French Toast, accompanied by inventive cocktails including the large-format El Jefe Wes Colada or La Bloody Maria, for Mezcal lovers. On Saturdays, brunch will feature special DJ sets by LA-based talent throughout the spring and summer months. To mark the occasion and in celebration of Cinco de Mayo, KA’TEEN will be serving up a variety of drink and dish specials exclusively available this Saturday and Sunday, including the La Poblana cocktail made with Cincoro Tequila Reposado, a Duck MoleWild Boar Carnitas, and much more. No Kid Hungry’s Taste of The Nation food festival is making its return to Los Angeles, at Media Park in Culver City. Attendees will enjoy exceptional eats and curated drinks from Los Angeles’ top chefs and mixologists – including Brooke Williamson, Mei Lin, Shirley Chung, Stephanie Izzard, Jazz Singsanong, and Michael Reed – all united to support No Kid Hungry’s work to end childhood hunger in California and across the U.S. In addition to the incredible line-up of culinary talents, the afternoon will also include live entertainment and games. Taste of the Nation promises a fun-filled day highlighting the vibrancy and generosity of Los Angeles’ culinary community. Los Angeles has no shortage of food events. SHARE, Inc. invites you to the 71st annual Boomtown Gala at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel. SHARE, Inc. is Hollywood’s oldest and most noteworthy charity, founded in 1953 by seven women- some of whom were the wives of the famous Rat Pack!  Their mission is to improve the lives of children with special needs and members of the community who are less fortunate.
