A New Cocktail Menu Arrives at Mírate in Los Feliz

Mírate, the award-winning bar concept in Los Feliz, is unveiling a brand new cocktail menu packed with unique takes on familiar favorites and fresh, inventive creations. A love letter to Mexican culture, Mírate’s agave spirits-led beverage program supports Mexican producers and features Mírate-exclusive spirits, all while capturing the eclectic spirit of the Los Feliz community. The menu kicks off with a selection of ‘bebidas ancestrál’ (pre-Hispanic fermented beverages) including Tepache, Nitro Pulque and Tejuino before shifting into Mírate spins on margaritas and cocktail staples like the Daiquiri and Ranch Water. Various prices; Mondays – Fridays, 5:00 pm – close, Saturdays – Sundays (weekend brunch), 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm – close; 1712 N. Vermont Ave., Los Feliz, CA 90027; 323.649.7937

Other highlights include:

  • El Guero – The second iteration of the fan-favorite aguachile-inspired margarita, named after the infamous Mariscos El Guero in Ensenada, is upleveled with a bump of vegan cucumber-kelp caviar.
  • Tu Compa – Mírate’s spin on the Paloma is a can of house-made ‘squirt’ mixed with ingredients like Cascahuin 48 and Pulque. On the back of the can, guests can scan a QR code for a “secret” video game where they’ll play the role of an “agave defender.” Find a video of how it works here!
  • El Caminante – This take on the Jungle Bird highlights Mírate’s private barrel Oaxacan Rum selections from Alambique Serrano and replaces tepache with culinary-grade ‘tepache perfume’ and fresh lime with a clarified lime cordial.
