This Famous Los Angeles Steakhouse Unveils a New Menu with Seafood, Craft Cocktails & Desserts

Recently, I found myself immersed in a culinary adventure at The Palm Los Angeles, the quintessential steakhouse renowned for its timeless elegance and exquisite fare. This wasn’t a typical dining experience, however; it was a privileged opportunity to witness the future of the Palm’s menu under the guidance of Executive Chef Omari Williams. Chef Williams, with his infectious enthusiasm and culinary expertise, unveiled a selection of delectable creations slated to tantalize taste buds throughout 2024.

New Cocktails

The evening began with two new welcome cocktails. The Tiramisu Martini, infused with the smooth notes of coffee, offered a delightful indulgence, while the Valentine’s Day Love in Bloom cocktail made with Grey Goose Essences White Peach & Rosemary, La Marca Prosecco, Strawberry Purée & Fresh Lemon Juice (available throughout February) surprised with its blush-hued beauty and floral essence.

Culinary Journey: By Sea

Then it was time for the culinary journey to begin. The spread consisted of a taste from the sea with Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, perfectly steamed succulent whole Lobster, and the highly anticipated newcomer: Seared Scallops, that melted on my tongue. Each dish is a must-try for seafood aficionados.

Culinary Journey: By Land

Of course, a visit to the Palm Los Angeles wouldn’t be complete without its iconic offerings. The Chicken Parmigiana, a beloved staple, delivered cheesy comfort at its finest, while the Wagyu Lasagna presented a luxurious take on a familiar dish. Then came the stars of the show: the Tomahawk, a behemoth of a steak expertly grilled and oozing with juicy perfection, and the 12 oz. Filet, a tender, mouthwatering experience. These dishes showcased Chef Williams’ mastery of transforming prime cuts into culinary masterpieces.
