The iconic Hotel Casa del Mar located on the beach in Santa Monica has opened the Westside’s newest event and meeting venue, The Conservatory, designed by PHX Architecture. Amidst the never-ending chicken sandwich wars, national restaurant concept Rock & Brews is challenging you to ditch the usual contenders this National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day and instead make a deal with the demon…the Demon Chicken Sandwich, that is. Today, the rock ‘n’ roll-inspired restaurant is offering its fan-favorite Demon Chicken Sandwich for just $9 (compared to the usual $17.95!). Named after “The Demon” himself, Gene Simmons – Rock & Brews’ co-founder and legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famer – this sando is stacked with fried chicken breast, Rockin’ Hot Sauce, pepper cheese spread, chipotle slaw, marinated red onion, fresh jalapenos and chipotle ranch atop a warm brioche bun. (11/12): Tulsi Celebrates Diwali w/ Savory Bites & Mocktails

Tulsi Indian Eatery, best known for featuring three regions of Indian cuisine and its vast in-house bread program, is going all out for Diwali this year with a ticketed celebration at its Westwood location on 11/12. The celebration will include an array of bites, live performances, mocktails, and more! Guests looking for the ideal spot to kick off and celebrate the Hindu Festival of Lights can head to Tulsi’s Westwood location to enjoy quick bites such as samosas and dabeli; buffet-style plates such as paneer tikka masala, jeera rice, and mixed naans; and ras malai for dessert. Guests can also expect music and live Indian dance performances. (11/15): All-Day Café Great White Announces Exclusive Dinner Event with Molly Baz

Chef and food writer Molly Baz will be popping up at Great White – Larchmont on 11/15 for an exclusive dinner menu to celebrate her latest cookbook More is More. The menu – a collaboration between Baz and Great White Executive Chef Juan Ferreiro – will feature dishes from the book alongside dishes from Great White’s new Winter menu launching the same day. Guests will also be able to pair dinner with the latest vintage of the Chilled Red from her popular wine label Drink This Wine. This is the second collaboration between Great White and Baz, who co-hosted a dinner together over the Summer at Great White’s newest location on Melrose Ave in West Hollywood. The event at Larchmont marks the first opportunity for LA diners to sample dishes from her new book in person, and with Baz, Ferreiro, and the Great White team at the helm in the kitchen.
