Tuk Tuk x Turntable Kicks Off New Residency Called PLAge ft. SF Chef Rupert Blease (Lord Stanley)

This weekend kicks off the next residency in the Tuk Tuk x Turntable space on Sawtelle, which just ended its wildly popular first pop-up with Pecking House, the Sichuan fried chicken restaurant from New York. Chef Rupert Blease of Lord Stanley in SF and Chef Amanda Maneesilasan of Tuk Tuk Thai are collaborating on Tuk Tuk x Turntable PLAge, a French coastal menu with a Thai twist. This will be the ongoing house pop-up in the Tuk Tuk x Turntable space with an ever-changing menu (with some shorter pop-ups and collaborations to be announced in the new year). This is the last weekend to view Kenton Parker’s solo show at contemporary Los Angeles art gallery albertz benda. The show is Parker’s homecoming to the art world following a 3-year-long hiatus. The esteemed Los Angeles-based artist continues his conceptual journalistic approach, confronting his struggle with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse through a profound solo show at the intimate gallery space.
