Great White Expands to Third Location in West Hollywood
Great White, the all day café in Venice Beach and Larchmont Village, is now open in the heart of West Hollywood. Helmed by Chilean chef Juan Ferreiro (formerly of Per Se), the menu is inspired by a blend of coastal cultures with a focus on fresh, local, seasonal fare that is simple and allows its ingredients to shine. Guests will find the classic offerings such as fresh-pressed juices, indulgent bowls, salads, and a range of wood-fired pizzas, along with new items (which will soon be available across all Great White locations) including Citrus & Burrata with pistachios, winter citrus, smoked oil, and sourdough, Steak & Mushroom Fries with spinach and bernaise sauce, Chicken Shawarma with wood-fired pita bread, roasted cauliflower, pickled raisins, and labneh, Crispy Fish with roasted broccolini, marinated radish, brown butter miso and Wild Arugula Pesto Pasta with whipped goat cheese, tomato chili jam and breadcrumbs. Caldo Verde Presents an Evening Inspired by Tanya Holland’s Third Cookbook California Soul
Portuguese-inspired restaurant Caldo Verde invites you to a special one-night culinary event. Chef Suzanne Goin curated a special menu of various dishes inspired by Oakland-based chef Tanya Holland’s third cookbook, California Soul. Holland’s cookbook features a collection of modern soul food with more than 80 seasonally inspired comfort-filled recipes that trace the roots of modern California soul food to the Great Migration. Caldo Verde’s limited California Soul menu will include a Fried Artichoke Po’Boy, Gumbo Z’herbes with Dungeness Crab and Prawns, Sorghum and Cinnamon-Glazed Pork Loin, and Gravenstein Apple Hand Pie.
