Café Gratitude Unveils New Beverage Program and Happy Hour Menu

L.A. sommelier Taylor Grant has launched a new Wine/Beverage Program and Happy Hour menu at plant-based eatery Café Gratitude. Highlights include Gratitude Fiero Spritz ($13) made with Prosecco, Martini & Rossi Fiero Vermouth, Soda, and Orange or Rosé Spritz ($12) with Lorenza Rosé, Lillet Rosé, Prosecco, Soda, and Seasonal Fruit. Grant has also curated a list of organic, sustainable, naturally-made wines such as Da Mar Prosecco or Souliel ‘Vin De Bonte’ ($8/glass), that pair perfectly with new $7 – $10 bites from Chef Ellis. This month, brush off your Sunday Best because the Paw Works Animal Rescue hosts the 6th annual Ties & Tails Gala. Paw Works is a nonprofit rescue organization that partners with county and city shelters to give abandoned animals a second chance at life. The theme of this year’s Ties & Tails Gala is Barking Mad, an ode to Alice in Wonderland. The evening features a red-carpet event, cocktail hour, dinner, music, and silent and live auctions. The Peninsula Beverly Hills Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The Peninsula Beverly Hills is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month with pink initiatives throughout the entire month of October. The five-star luxury hotel will be making donations to benefit The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, whose mission is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world’s most promising research. The hotel’s traditional afternoon tea will turn into a Pink Afternoon Tea ($125+), Wednesdays – Sundays. For every table booked, The Peninsula Beverly Hills will donate $5 to BCRF. Seatings will take place at 11:00 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:00pm, and reservations can be made by calling 310.975.2736. In addition to the Pink Afternoon Tea, The Peninsula Beverly Hills Spa will be donating $5 for every Pink Classic Manicure ($65) booked.
