Interstellar Reopens with New Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Beverage Menus
Interstellar, the laid-back Santa Monica restaurant known for its innovative fusion of Korean and American ingredients together with Japanese and Italian flavors, has reopened with a new design and menus. Owned by husband-and-wife team Chef Angie and Daniel Kim, Interstellar has a new look thanks to an interior renovation by Noni Design House. The new extended menus feature a vibrant Lobster Roll, Acciuga Toast (French baguette, spicy tomato anchovies, burrata, basil), Ganjang Gaeren (soy sauce marinated egg, Thai Chili, serrano, garlic, rice sesame seeds), Tamago Natto Kake Gohan (truffle ponzu marinated egg yolk, Hokkaido natto, scallions, sesame oil, rice). The Restaurant at Mr. C Beverly Hills announces a three-course, pre-fixe express lunch. The quick business lunch is perfect for those who want fine dining in a hurry. In 45-minutes, you’ll enjoy appetizer options like the Soup of the Day, an Arugula Salad with Cherrie Tomato & Shaved Parmesan, or Burrata with Heirloom Tomatoes and Basil. For main courses, choose from Tagliatelle all’ Pomodoro and Mozzarella, Chicken Spezzatino with Mushrooms, or Pan Seared Salmon, Broccolini, Cherry Tomato, and Black Olives. Portuguese-inspired restaurant Caldo Verde invites you to a special one-night event. Chef Suzanne Goin curated a special menu of various dishes inspired by Oakland-based chef Tanya Holland’s third cookbook, California Soul. Holland’s cookbook features a collection of modern soul food with more than 80 seasonally inspired comfort-filled recipes that trace the roots of modern California soul food to the Great Migration. Caldo Verde’s limited California Soul menu will include a Fried Artichoke Po’Boy, Gumbo Z’herbes with Dungeness Crab and Prawns, Sorghum and Cinnamon-Glazed Pork Loin, and Gravenstein Apple Hand Pie. Nosotros Tequila & Mezcal Master Class at The Green Room
The Green Room, the sexy speakeasy nestled in the Burbank hills, is hosting its second educational series event of the year, Master Class: Art of Beverage, during which Nosotros will take guests on a tour through the history of their premium quality agave spirits. Attendees will experience a guided tasting of four varietals of Nosotros Tequila and Mezcal, each of which will be paired with elevated bites prepared by The Green Room’s Executive Chef Czarina Sico. The evening’s food menu will feature items like Smoked Hamachi, Prawn Skewers with agave lime glaze, Blue Corn Empanadas, and more! There will also be interactive elements sprinkled throughout the evening, giving guests the opportunity to win gift cards and other fun giveaway prizes. Everytable continues its L.A. expansion with two new stores in Koreatown and Thai Town. Today, in honor of the Thai Town grand opening, the first 200 guests will receive a free meal!
