A Lunar Eclipse Kayaking Adventure at the Portofino Hotel
On May 15th, we will bear witness to a beautiful and rare lunar eclipse, when the Moon will move in the Earth’s shadow. The Blood Moon total lunar eclipse will be visible from North and South America, Europe, Africa, and parts of Asia. In honor of this stunning event, Noble House Hotels, The Portofino Hotel & Spa in Redondo Beach, and REI have partnered to launch a non-profit initiative where you can “adventure for good!” During the eclipse, REI guides will provide the “Dockside of the Moon,” a 90- minute evening kayak under the stars. In honor of the Dodgers season, Dunkin’s Downey store is unveiling the store’s new piece of street art, a mural in partnership with the LA Dodgers. Today between 8 – 10:00 am, Dunkin’ is giving away a free Blue & White Sprinkle Donut with any drink purchase, and you will be automatically entered into a sweepstake to win Dodgers tickets.
