Nestled in the heart of Hollywood, the Museum of Illusions invites you to escape your reality and enter an optical illusion that is sure to catch the eyes of your Instagram followers. Upon entering, you embark on a stunning journey, featuring over 30 3D illusions inspired by cartoons, art, current events, movies and more. The colorful displays reminded me of Wonderland, and I was Alice, in awe of everything I saw. Each display is eye-popping but perhaps my favorite part is the Upside Down House. In here the laws of gravity are defied and what goes up, isn’t coming down. 
The museum offers several types of admittance. There are two types of VIP packages giving you your very own photographer with professional photography equipment and editing options. General admission allows you to explore and do things on your own. To ensure you get the perfect picture, each illusion is labeled with instructions as to where to stand. The museum encourages you to be creative and use your imagination to create the best illusion. 
My friend and I had a blast at The Museum of Illusions. With all the stresses of everyday life, it’s the perfect place to get away from the chaos and just have fun. The museum took me on an African Safari, allowed me to live out my inner rock star fantasy, tested my fear of heights , and gave me a new perspective on things as my world was flipped upside down.
