Inspired by the arrival of LeBron James, the Mari Los Angeles, located inside the Intercontinental Hotel in Century City, is offering a “Dinner Fit For A King”, a three-course meal worthy of him. The new general manager of the Intercon hails from Cleveland as well and according to him, he’s not sure who followed whom. Either way he has put together quite a tribute to the King, taking LeBron’s favorite dishes and adding a touch of Intercon class. The first course is a choice between “Wings”, a chicken drumette, goji berry and hunan sauce or Slammin’ Shrimp Sliders, and second is the Blaze-ing Turkey Burger and LBJ Pizza with mushrooms, banana peppers and a fried egg on top, a surprisingly great combination. And for dessert either a Banana Fudge Brownie Sundae with walnuts and whipped creme fraiche, or a Fruity Pebbles Layer Cake with vanilla butter cream.
If that’s not enough, you’ll also have the full drink and dinner menu if you want to try some Intercon favorites like the Brussel Sprouts and the Salmon. And you must have some of their signature cocktails such as the Barrel-Aged Manhattan and for something sweeter, the Black Blue Smash. The Lemongrass Bourbon Sour and Spicy Scotsman were also delicious and strong.
The “Dinner Fit For A King” meal is $35/person and available at both Mari Los Angeles and Copper Lounge. You’ll need to be quick, you have until November 16th to treat yo self. Make a reservation here.
