NoMad Los Angeles debuts quarterly NoMadic Bartenders series
Make It Nice bar director Leo Robitschek (EMP, NoMad, Made Nice) and the NoMad Los Angeles bar team welcome P(OUR) co-founders Alex Kratena and Monica Berg stateside for the debut of NoMadic Bartenders, a quarterly international guest bartender series. Kratena (formerly the head bartender of Artesian in London, which topped World’s 50 Best Bar Awards for four consecutive years) and Berg (formerly of London’s Pollen Street Social and Himkok in Oslo) will shake up cocktails alongside the NoMad bar crew on the Rooftop. In addition to NoMad Rooftop classics, throughout the evenings you get to experience three specialty cocktails crafted by Kratena and Berg in addition to a special “lava-flow” frozen cocktail. Following the debut event, the lava-flow cocktail will be available as part of the Rooftop cocktail menu, with the three specialty cocktails available in the Giannini Bar downstairs for the remainder of the year. $1 from every cocktail sold will be donated to P(OUR). The next to-be-announced guest bartender in the series will join the NoMad team in January 2019 with new cocktails to be featured throughout the first quarter of the year.
