Dinner on Ice is a unique evening of outdoor gourmet dining and ice skating at ICE Santa Monica. Enjoy a five-course menu prepared by MasterChef finalist Derrick Fox as well as cocktail pairings and wine bar. Dinner on Ice offers you the opportunity to enjoy Chef Derrick’s delicious and visually impressive dishes which are a fusion of his unique journey inspired from his MasterChef experiences, childhood memories, and his travels. This one-of-a-kind culinary experience is presented by Capital One. Sample menu items include an Oysters with Rosé granita; Endive cups filled with dates, blue cheese, walnuts, and truffle oil; Cucumber slices topped with crab and spicy aioli; and Miso Cod with cauliflower puree, shaved purple carrots and soy reduction. Glendale’s newest arrival is launching happy hour and offers $2 off all beer, wine, sake and apps. Arran Whisky Dinner at Tam O’Shanter
Tam O’Shanter will host a very special dining event featuring a five-course meal created by executive chef Juan Escamilla with select whisky pairings for each dish from the award-winning Arran Distillery. The whisky pairing dinner will include: an arrangement of canapé’s (paired with Arran’s Robert Burns Scotch Whisky); smoked salmon salad with fingerling potatoes, arugula, lemon supremes, citrus vinaigrette (paired with Arran 10yr); black pepper and bacon pasta with poached apples (paired with Arran 14yr); braised prime beef short ribs with vanilla parsnips, cipollini and whiskey mustard sauce (paired with Arran 18yr); and red wine poached pear tart with berry compote (paired The Arran Amarone Cask Finished).
