Harbor House Celebrates the World Series
Go Dodgers!!! All pints hailing from LA proper will be $5 during the game and you can enjoy these at their indoor/outdoor bar as the game is played on their big screen TVs. Beers include The Golden Ale and Dark Ale from Iron Triangle on Industrial St, and the Pilsner from Angel City Brewing on Alameda. Herringbone Santa Monica Hosts a Tribute to the James Beard House
In early October, founding Chef Brian Malarkey and the Herringbone culinary team brought the ocean, land and sea to one of the James Beard Foundation’s most notable events – A Beard House Dinner in New York City. In honor of this prestigious event, Herringbone Santa Monica will be hosting a special, one-night-only tribute dinner on with a menu featuring the five courses Chef Brian Malarkey and his team served at the New York City event. Each course will be accompanied by a perfect vintage varietal handpicked for each location. The James Beard Foundation’s mission is to celebrate, nurture, and honor chefs and other leaders making America’s food culture more delicious, diverse, and sustainable for everyone. Los Angeles’ longest running, most celebrated action-packed variety show is back with their annual Halloween spectacular! Coming off their sold-out 15th anniversary shows in August, Lucha VaVOOM, where Mexican masked wrestling, burlesque and comedy collide, returns at The Mayan Theater. Billed as “The Smell Of Fear! In ODORAMA,” all fans in attendance for these shows will receive free souvenir scratch-n-sniff cards and are encouraged to attend in costume!
