Snow Los Angeles
Los Angeles turns into a winter wonderland at the new snow-themed attraction, which has 10,000 square feet of snow tubing across nine acres, right near Dodger Stadium. L.A. Zoo Lights
The holiday light experience combines lighting design with the excitement of the L.A. Zoo. Stroll through areas of the zoo that are transformed into a wonderland with glowing light animals and gold touches in celebration of the zoo’s 50th anniversary. LA Kings outdoor Ice Rink Opens
Just in time for the holidays, the LA Kings Holiday Ice Rink in Redondo Beach will be open for skating with its grand opening this weekend (Saturday). The LA Kings Holiday Ice Rink in Redondo benefits the Redondo Beach Police Foundation’s school safety program. Individual tickets are available for sale on-site and reservations will be available to hold birthday parties and other special events for up to 500 people. The rink will be operated by American Sports Entertainment Company, the operating team at the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo and LA Kings Holiday Ice presented by Coca-Cola at L.A. Beverly Hills Celebrates the Holidays
Beverly Hills will transform into a festive wonderland for the holiday season, offering exciting events, stunning décor, new community initiatives and holiday cheer for all. The season begins officially with the City’s annual Rodeo Drive Lighting Celebration on Sunday at 5 pm. The hour-long show will feature amazing talent, with a headlining performance by Broadway and television star Megan Hilty and end with a spectacular fireworks display. You can also enjoy the Taste of the Holidays Village, offering treats from some of the best food and beverage outlets in the Golden Triangle including Sprinkles Cupcakes, Bouchon BakeryTeuscher Chocolates, Nahid La Patisserie, Beverly Hills Beignet, and Coral Tree Cafe. The lighting celebration will also include #RODEOGIVESBACK, a new community initiative created to help those less fortunate. Bring a coat you no longer need for a coat drive, which will benefit The Salvation Army. In addition, the organizers will make a donation to The Maple Counseling Center, a community organization whose mission is to provide low cost mental health services to those in need and training for interns and counselors working toward their license, at the conclusion of the holiday season. Other holiday events include the Jolly Trolley that gives a scenic tour of historic Beverly Hills sites with special songs and stories. The tour ends with a stop at the Paley Center for Media where you will have the option to hop off for a visit with Santa. Tickets for the Jolly Trolley are available for purchase once on board and are just $5 for adults and $1 for children 12 and under. The Beverly Hills Trolley departs from the corner of North Rodeo Drive & Dayton Way at the top of each hour. Weekends through December 18, 11 am – 3 pm. Two Rodeo Drive also comes alive with live holiday music and carolers on a select number of dates through December 24.

Beer Fest for Beer Geeks Presents: The Rare Experience
Beer Fest for Beer Geeks, brought to you by Stout Burgers & Beers, presents a beer list to celebrate the uniqueness of beer. The 4th Annual Stouts N Staches Brew Crawl Returns to Venice Beach
Stouts N Staches is back for its 4th year in Venice Beach, bringing together local bars/restaurants and members of the community for a mustache-themed bar crawl event to raise awareness for the Movember movement and funds for Venice Family Clinic. Participating locations will offer food and craft beer specials, such as Goose Island, Venice Duck and Scrimshaw, to those who show their mustache pride and support the cause. Salt & Straw Pop Up to Celebrate their New WeHo Location
The ice cream purveyor known for its artisanal, chef-driven approach to an American classic, has announced plans to open a new scoop shop in West Hollywood next year. As an introduction to the community, Salt & Straw will be hosting a fundraiser for The Trevor Project outside the forthcoming shop, offering $1 scoops of their inspired flavors like Sea Salt with Caramel Ribbons, Chocolate Gooey Brownie,Honey Lavender and more. Margo’s on Montana Opens
The latest concept from the family-owned hospitality group, On The Verge Hospitality, by Mark and Lani Verge has undergone a dramatic transformation both in the kitchen and the dining room. Named after proprietor Mark Verge’s mother, Margo’s, Executive Chef Greg A. Daniels,  formerly Executive Chef of Salt Air, will be helming the kitchen and presenting an eclectic menu of “California-Modern” small plates and dishes including a lemon crusted halibut with buttered cauliflower and black truffle alongside carnivore-friendly items such a lamb saddle with navy beans, maitake mushrooms and caramelized onions. The menu also features lighter and shareable dishes for the healthy and body-conscious, like butter lettuce hearts edamame and radish salad alongside a hamachi crudo with sprouted lentils, leek vinaigrette and espellette. As of right now, Margo’s will be serving lunch and dinner on weekdays and weeknights along with brunch served on Saturday and Sunday. O+O Sicilian Kitchen & Bar Opens
A taste of Sicily arrives in Santa Monica with O+O Sicilian Kitchen & Bar. O+O features a modern aesthetic combined with an old-world Italian influence, designed in partnership with IDEA Interiors. Murals from Sicilian artist, Vincenzo Magno, accent the space and the patio features market lighting, fire pit and an intimate, but cozy feel. Serving lighter versions of traditional Italian dishes made with local ingredients, the restaurant and bar is dishing up Arancini Classico, Pizza alla Pistachio, Eggplant Parmigiana, Puppetto (meatballs), Crudo (raw fish), Forno (pizzas) Cutto (appetizers) and Contorno del Giorrno (sides).
