2015 Elouan Rosé from Copper Cane Wines & Provisions

With temps still in the 80’s in Los Angeles (give it a few days), it’s the perfect weather to keep “rosé all day” going with a glass of 2015 Elouan Rosé from Copper Cane Wines & Provisions. This rosé is perfect for enjoying on your patio in the sun or with a few light bites with friends. Created by fifth generation Napa Valley winemaker Joe Wagner, this newly released rosé is the first from the Copper Cane brand.

Just as in Elouan Pinot Noir, the grapes for this wine are sourced from three regions along Oregon’s coast—the Willamette, Umqua, and Rogue Valleys, with the majority of the grapes coming from the warmest of the three regions, the Rogue Valley. The diversity of these cool climates combined with a long growing season creates wine with lots of fruit flavor, fresh acidity, and a crisp taste. This rosé is created with grapes that were grown and harvested with the specific intention of making rosé, and not a saignée rosé, which can be a by-product of making red wine.

I love that it is finished with a screw cap! Elouan Rosé is a great go-to rosé option for outdoor adventures and entertaining during the warm late fall months. No need to remember the wine opener! Grab your bottle of 2015 Elouan Rosé at Beverages and More and Vendome Wine and Spirits or by visiting Copper Cane Wines & Provisions.
