Universal Studios’s Dracula
The LA Opera invades the Theatre at the Ace Hotel (929 S Broadway) for a special screening of Universal Studios’s Dracula, which will be accompanied by a live performance by famed composer Philip Glass and the Kronos Quartet. Halloween Organ with Film: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Paramount’s Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, directed by John S. Robertson and produced by Famous Players-Lasky, was the first of three film treatments of Robert Louis Stevenson’s famous novella produced in 1920. Third Annual Zombie Crawl in Santa Monica
The Santa Monica Zombie Crawl returns for its third year, and will bring out the undead on Halloween night for a bar crawl in the heart of the city. Starting on the Santa Monica Pier, crawlers will growl their way through the city for drink and food specials all night with the official wristband.
