Ashland Hill, (2807 Main St., Santa Monica, CA 90405; 310.392.3300) is a craft beer and wine garden that is soft open today in the old Wildflour Pizza space in Santa Monica. This spot is going to be the spot for al fresco dining. With a large patio, brick walls, blonde wooden ceilings, white tiles, and black accents, it has a casual, contemporary, rustic feel.

The wine-and-beer bar/biergarten is serving a menu full of Avocado & Roasted Tomato Toast,  House Made Pimento Cheese on Grilled Focaccia, Crispy Cauliflower, Niman Ranch Pork Bely Tacos, Chargrilled Marinated Hanger Steak, Charred Shishito Mac & Cheese, Ashland Hill Burger with red onion, bacon jam, Sharp White Cheddar, paprika mayo, watercress, Red Curry Deviled Eggs, and Crispy Truffled Cheese Curds.

For dessert, try the Cast Iron Blonde Brownie with chocolate chips, salted caramel, and vanilla ice cream, or the Market Blueberry Crumble.
