Bachi Burger (2030 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025) is a Japanese-inspired Las Vegas burger spot in the middle of Sawtelle. With an industrial vibe, this casual, “bachi” spot gets it’s name from an abbreviated term for “Hibachi” (method of Japanese style of grilling) and bachi also means to treat others how you would like to be treated in return.
They are serving up Asian-style burgers and unique beverages. Their burgers are inspired from the many different asian influences from the Hawaiian islands. Burgers include the Ronin Burger with sweet onions, the Banh Mi burger with a sweet dipping sauce, and oxtail fries, which are loaded with stewed meat. Boba drinks, milkshakes, and sodas are made in house and they also have Asian style iced teas, milk teas and coffees. They have local domestic microbrews and their sake offerings are carefully selected to pair well with their cuisine yet offer great variety.
Bachi Burger believes in sustainable and environmentally principled business practices and products. They recycle locally their used oil and all food compost is transported to local farms. They are always researching both food and non-food products for materials that are either recycled or do not have a negative impact on the environment. They also believe in being a positive part of the community and supports local artists and showcase their art throughout the restaurant.
