Seems that Los Angeles is having a ton of food opening this Monday. Well, add Murph’s (14649 Ventura Blvd., Sherman Oaks, CA 91403) to the mix. Opening September 15 next to owner Richard DiSisto’s other spots, Tipple & Brine and Tunnel Bar, this restaurant will have chef Mike Williams in the kitchen and Christopher Day (Honeycut, Tipple & Brine) preparing the cocktail menu.
In addition to cocktails, there are 20 beers on tap and bar bites to soak it all up with. Dishes include house-made meat board, cheddar biscuits, fried green tomatoes, fried chicken biscuit sandwich, pig ear fries and braised bacon.
