On August 6th screenwriters Kelly Marcel and Scott Neustadter will join The Writers’ Room with Reza Aslan, a new take on the typically stagnant literary event that includes a live house band, cocktails, and your interaction. Staged the first Wednesday of every month, The Writer’s Room is an intimate, fast-paced conversation with some of today’s most compelling poets, novelists, non-fiction writers and screenwriters. Reza Aslan, a controversial, internationally acclaimed writer, scholar of religions and author of the #1 New York Times Bestseller Zealot: The Life and Times of Jesus of Nazareth, hosts the monthly series. This Wednesday, Reza talks to screenwriters behind two of the most anticipated book-to-movie projects today: Scott Neustadter (The Fault In Our Stars) and Kelly Marcel (Fifty Shades of Grey).
