Petit Trois (718 N Highland Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90038) has chefs, Ludo Lefebvre, Jon Shook, and Vinny Dotolo (Animal) and chef de cuisine Sydney Hunter III, behind it. This spot, the little sister adjacent to Trois Mec, will prepare some of the LA’ best French bistro fare (with an American twist) and it’s opening today!
The tiny spot has black and white tile, dark wood stools, arched wall openings, mirrors and marble counters. During lunch, they are serving up 200 sandwiches daily beginning at 12:30 pm. You can order up jambon-beurre and pan-bagnat, and check out Twitter for all the sandwich updates.
Along with Ludo Lefebvre’s classic bistro menu featuring beef tartare, roasted chicken, steak frites, mussels, a confit chicken leg and burgundy escargot, you can expect a full liquor license and only bar seating. There are no tables and the place only seats 21. Other rules include no reservations, no cash and only credit cards are accepted. After 10:30 pm, your only option is croque-monsieur.
Open Monday-Friday, 11:30 am-midnight.
