The Night Owl Stoners & Drunkards Menu at Fred 62

This time of year in Los Angeles means the party has just begun, but LA ain’t so great in the late night munchie department. Fear not! The Night Owl Stoners & Drunkards Menu at Fred 62 (1850 N. Vermont Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90027; 323.667.0062) in Los Feliz has exactly what you need!

Because the food truck culture has become such an LA staple, Fred 62 Owner, Fred Eric wanted to pay homage to how they created a fun culinary world by having each late-night dish correspond with the food truck genre that inspired it. The El Fuego Truck inspired the Lobster Tacos, with Atlantic lobster, yucca and habanero avocado salsa. The LA Street Food Festival inspired Chef Jerome’s Truck offering, the Mac N’ BBQ Balls. These tasty little nuggets are bite-sized, slow-smoked short rib mac and cheese balls, dripping with spicy BBQ sauce. They also have The Ross Co. Truck Waffle Slider, that sandwiches buttermilk-brined fried chicken between two mini-waffles with a spice-laced maple aioli and mustard greens and The 99-cent Truck entry of Frito Pie. With Fritos, true-smoked brisket chili, rajas con crema, jack and cheddar cheeses, roasted poblano and sour cream, this pie is where it’s at for midnight munchies.

Vegans and vegetarians don’t worry. There’s even a couple dishes for you! Under the header of the Venus Food Van, veggie heads can choose from The Big Dipper, which has a tasty trio of baba ganoush, harissa and hummus with falafel dipping chips, or the Chickpea Fritters with spicy Moroccan tomato dip.

Finally, rounding out the menu, there is The Rolls Rice Truck dish, which shares a Surf N’ Turf Freshwich. Feast on spicy shrimp, pork belly, green papaya salad, lettuce, cilantro, fried shallots and a spicy dipping sauce. So get ready to push away the utensils and dig in on these great finger foo, food truck inspired dishes.

The Night Owl Stoners & Drunkards Menu is served 7 nights a week from 11 pm-3 am.
