Sunset Cocktail Lounge

Los Angeles has many great things to do, but a discreet rooftop with delicious cocktails and stunning views, oozes Los Angeles so much, that it’s one of the reasons I live in our glorious city. Sunset Cocktail Lounge, (8465 Holloway Dr, West Hollywood; 323.656.4100) is a new rooftop getaway with the city views we love so much. Open Thursday through Saturday, this lounge with flowers, a central bar, and dark wood lives on top of Palihouse West Hollywood.

It may be a little tricky getting into this place, but email them and see what you can muster up, or rent a room downstairs. You’ll be able to order up cocktails like the Cup of Life (Veev Acai, raspberry, pomegranate, green tea infused simple syrup, lime, garnish sprig of rosemary); The Fizz (Grey Goose La Poire, St. Germain, lemon juice, simple syrup, muddled cucumber/mint lemonade); the Fig Tree (Veev Acai, lemon, honey, ginger beer, garnish fig); the Shipwreck (bourbon, dark rum, lime juice, simple syrup, pinch of mint, dash of bitters); the Writer’s Block (New Amsterdam Gin, St. Germain, lime, La Marca Prosecco); the Midnight Train (scotch, fresh ginger, lemon, honey syrup, dash bitters, and smoked ice); and the Hibiscus Royal (Double Cross Vodka, Champagne, lemon, simple syrup, hibiscus flower).

As for food, you can munch on bacon cheddar tater tots, fried chicken sliders, truffle fries or fish tacos. What can I say, the cocktails are the main focus here.
