I was pretty devastated when I was hit in the face with the fact that I was going to need back surgery this past February. I am a very active person and this meant no running around to multiple events and absolutely no working out for a good eight weeks. My doctor kept telling me, once this is done, pilates! (pilates, pilates, pilates). So it was a dream when I found Club Pilates (730 N. La Brea Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90038; 323.774.2701), which not only offers me a challenging workout on my road to recovery, but they are walking distance (double workout).
Club Pilates is a friendly, no frills, fun pilates studio on the West Hollywood/Hollywood border. I loved how it has a small town feel and everyone talked to each other. (Sadly, that is rare in Los Angeles). No Los Angeles stuffiness here! I fell in love and now I go as much as I can.
