I have a thing for places hidden in an alley. (have you been to far bar)? Well, when the place is named Alley (12223 W Washington Blvd., Culver City; 310.398.8611)…it’s in an alley. This is a secret new bar attached to Fin, the restaurant up front. Alley reminds me of if Roger Room and Viceroy had a baby. It has a vintage vibe, with blue walls, mirrors, white animal heads, natural wood floors, and a black marble bar.
They are serving up cocktails like the Betty Boop (Vodka, Elderflower Liqueur, Lemon Juice, Blackberries); the Gatsby (Cognac, Combier, Lemon Juice, Lemon Twist); the Nucky Thompson (Gin, Sweet Vermouth, Amaro, Orange Peel); the Cagney (Rye Whiskey, Lemon Juice, Sugar Cube, Cabernet Sauvignon, Brandied Cherry); the Audrey Hepburn (Aperol, Champagne, Cucumber0; and the Hemingway (Rum, Luxardo Cherry Liqueur, Lime Juice, Grapefruit Juice, Brandied Cherry).
