Justice Urban Tavern

Located at the corner of First and Los Angeles Street, Justice Urban Tavern (120 S. Los Angeles St.; 213.473.1229 )is opening on Monday. The name, Justice, is a tribute to the Hall of Justice, City Hall, police department and other city and federal agencies that are in the area. Operated by RIM Restaurant Group, Justice is located adjacent to Little Tokyo, the Arts District and the Civic Center. The interior has earth tones, stone walls, high-top communal bar tables and lounge-style seating. The spacious outdoor patio is rare in DTLA. Featuring cuisine from Executive Chef Francis Dimitrius and a large list of California wines and craft beers, Justice has an upscale neighborhood vibe with a big city twist.

Then menu has modern twists on classic cuisine with local ingredients. Dishes include the signature Barrister Burger, Beer Battered Cod, Smoked Pork Ribs (delish) and Shrimp and Chorizo with Grits, as well as regional specials like Korean Bacon and Eggs with house made Kim Chi, locally sourced cheese and charcuterie and Ice Box Cake. They also have a daily happy hour with a variety of specialty cocktails and a list of craft beers and Cali wines.

Join in the grand opening celebration on Monday, March 24 at 4:30 pm with a ribbon cutting, all night happy hour and a complimentary pint glass for the first 100 patrons.

Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and Happy Hour from 3-7 pm. Open Sunday-Thursday 6 am-10 pm, Friday & Saturday 6 am-11 pm.
