Sisters Lydia and Marnie Clarke, grandchildren of the founder of Alta Dena Dairy, are opening Grand Central Market‘s DTLA Cheese today! It’s downtown’s only full-service cheese counter. In addition to being a full-service cheese counter, DTLA will offer American comfort food featuring rotating foods and cheeses.
The team behind Claremont’s Cheese Cave, the Clarke sisters along with Reed Herrick a chef of two decades from Napa Valley – will focus on traditional and handmade cheeses. The menus will feature carefully curated domestic and imported cheese plates, griddle sandwiches, and seasonal salads, as well as local craft beers and California boutique wines by the glass.
