Fork in the Road (2420 Main St., Santa Monica, 90405) is a new Santa Monica restaurant serving up dishes that are a combo of California, Italian, and Mediterranean foods, all from the team behind Bank of Venice and Venice Ale House (One of my favs). Munch on starters like kale salad, Pacific yellowtail crudo, barbecue pig tail and entrees like roast half chicken, duck confit, braised short rib ravioli, winter squash and goat cheese ravioli, brisket & bone marrow, and pan seared halibut. Plus, they have a wood burning oven that cranks out flatbreads topped with wild mushrooms; buratta, red pepper and eggplant; and arugula pesto.
Just like their other establishments, this spot is also whipping up cocktails. Right now, grab dinner…lunch coming soon.
