The Factory Kitchen

The Factory Kitchen, (1300 Factory Pl #101, 213.996.6000) is a new trattoria-style restaurant in the downtown Arts District that’s serving up traditional Italian fare. Here, they are making gnocchi and bread by hand and shaving some of the best cured meats. (Their prosciutto is aged 24 months and served with lightly fried sage dough). The industrial feel is accented with reclaimed wood tables, leather chairs, and garage doors.

Situated in a 90-year-old warehouse, this place is soft opening today for dinner. While you eat your duck ragù pappardelle and sangiovese, you can check out the open kitchen, that is in the center of the 3,000-square-foot concrete room.

Open Monday-Friday, 11:30 am-2:30 pm for lunch; Sunday-Thursday,  5:30-10 pm; Friday & Saturday, 5:30-11 pm for dinner; and Saturday & Sunday 10 am-3 pm for brunch.
