Rao’s (1006 Seward Ave., Los Angeles, CA, 323.962.7267) is a new Hollywood spot serving Southern Neapolitan fare and they are now accepting resys for their September 17 launch.
This East Harlem restaurant was started back in 1896 and known for it’s mobster guests and airtight resy policy. You had to know someone to get in, so we’ll see how it goes down for their Los Angeles location. Hopefully, you can snag one of their 95 seats. There is also indoor and outdoor seating (all in red). Co-owner Frank Pellegrino (a.k.a. the Marinara Sauce Don) put Nicole Grimes from the Vegas location in the kitchen. He’s serving up a mix of new Italian plates and classics like meatballs and lemon chicken. Open, nightly 5-10:30 pm.
