Go Get Em Tiger (230 N Larchmont Blvd.) is a new coffee bar in Larchmont Village from the team that use to be at Intelligentsia Coffee and is now behind G&B Coffee and pop-up at SQIRL. The name comes from what you tell yourself in morning to face your day. With the motorcyclist and astronaut imagery, they really enforce that you can do anything here. Go one! Tackle your day!
You may say, “ok, it’s just coffee”, but it’s the simple presentation and the attention they put into every cup that makes this place so special. No lines here, it’s literally a bar, where the next barista will get your drink that will come in a custom hand-thrown ceramic mug by Silverlake ceramics artist Ben Medansky. The design of the shop is to force interaction among guests and interaction with the baristas.
They tested manu different types of brewing to get the perfect cup. Espresso is made with a fully automatic four-group machine made by La Marzocco. Go Get Em Tiger will also pre-grind shots so that the wait time is next to nothing. It’s all about efficiency people!
