Roadhouse LA

 

Umami Restaurant Group, creators of Umami Burger, named “Burger of the Year” by GQ magazine, unveiled plans for a new restaurant, Roadhouse LA at The Improv (8162 Melrose Ave.). The concept is a partnership with this is not a pop-upTM and Chef Robbie Richter, pitmaster from two New York barbecue destinations, Hill Country and Fatty ‘Cue.

The menu will be based on traditionally wood-smoked meats and include items like Paneer with Smoked Curried Goat Gravy; Pork Ribs with Fish Sauce, Palm Sugar and Long Pepper; Pimiento Mac and Cheese; and Large Format Dishes like “Head of the Day” and Whole Shoulders of Lamb, Beef or Pork by special order.

Roadhouse LA at The Improv will be open daily for lunch and dinner, serving until 2 am, even when there are not shows at The Hollywood Improv. The restaurant will have a full bar serving craft cocktails, craft beer, and wines on tap.
