Two things I love are reading and wine. They have now come together to create V Wine Room (903 Westbourne Dr.,West Hollywood, 90069; 310.749.1703), a quaint cove where you will be drinking wine next to towering bookshelves.
This place use to be a library, but now it’s a wine bar, but they still hold onto a few library type things. It’s an intimate little spot, with a marble bar, a couple of brown leather booths, one big olive tree, and lots and lots of bookshelves. Before you start drinking, you’ll get a library card to keep track of the wines you check out. They’ll store your card on file so you can remember your favorites. Plus,they might use it to email you some recommendations.
