Doggie Dining in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is second only to Paris in its love for bringing their furry friends to the café. In honor of LA County officials’ recent decision to allow dogs in enclosed outdoor sections of restaurants (instead of only sidewalk patios), here are some of the best spots to bring your pooch:

Café Habana Malibu
After a little exercise for the doggie in the dog-permitted section of Leo Carillo State Beach, snag one of the comfy deck couches and order up $4 grilled corn with cotija cheese and $6 plantains. Their are bowls of water for the doggie. Malibu Lumber Yard, 3939 Cross Creek Rd., Malibu; 310.317.0300

Home
In Silver Lake, the inner courtyard of this restaurant is funky and fun for both your dog and you. The brunch menu has dishes like $9 breakfast chilaquiles and the pastry chef Demaris Gonzalez’s creates house-made dog treats. 2500 Riverside Dr.; 323.665.0211

The Farm
Located just steps from Rodeo Drive, order up the lobster club with a glass of Rock & Vine Malbec and, of course, a bowl of water for the lil guy (or big guy). 439 N. Beverly Dr., Beverly Hills; 310.273.5578
