Bootsy Bellows, (9229 W Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood, 90069; 310.274.7500) is an old-school Sunset Strip lounge opening Friday (soft open Tuesday) for nights of pie, cocktails and live entertainment. Get there around 9 pm for a table in front of the stage, and order some drinks and a bunch of pies for dinner. There are pink leather sofas, black & white marbled floors, mirrors and a baby grand for shows. Shows consist of jazz bands, marionette performers, burlesque-dancing girls in cat costumes, dancing puppets or the occasional famous comedian. David Arquette is emceeing, and the place is named after his mom. Bootsy Bellows was her burlesque name. Seriously.
