Bibigo hits Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills welcomes Bibigo (225 S Beverly; Beverly Hills; 310.275.0011), a casual, cafeteria-esqu spot serving up create your own Korean meals. Decorated with grates, art and blonde wood beam ceilings, they have a menu with a series of dishes where your-pick protein (BBQ beef, teriyaki chicken, grilled spicy pork, shrimp, err, tofu), rice and sauce (kohot, ssam, sesame, citrus soy). They also have their creations, like the vegetable Bibigo rice, a traditional bibimbap, and a bib with the rice & veggies grilled up on a hot stone. They also have tapas like fried red chicken & hot pork buns, and special dishes including char-grilled spicy pork & chicken kimchi fried rice. After 5 pm, grab dinners like braised short ribs topped with shishito pepper, carrot and green bean.

They’ve also got soju and beer, and will be acting as a test kitchen for prepared-food products that they will sale there. The first ones featuring hot pepper paste, soy sauce with kelp extract,and seasoned soybean paste.
