Baldwin Hills’ Post & Beam (3767 Santa Rosalia Dr., Los Angeles, 90008; 323.299.5599), introduces a new cocktail program crafted by Dan Warrilow, esteemed Los Angeles-based mixologist and General Manager of Son of A Gun. The cocktails build upon the restaurant’s ideology of highlighting local ingredients, sourced through the South Central Farmers Cooperative and from the restaurant’s on-site garden. Some highlights include the “Strawberry Daiquiri” with housemade strawberry-infused Batavia arrack, honey, and lime; and the “Amaretto Sour” with rum, amaretto, and lime (both $10). In addition to Post & Beam’s new cocktails, they serve a other spirits, local wine and craft beer varietals such as Arrogant Bastard, Eagle Rock Manifesto “Wit –Bier,” and Stone Smoked Porter.
