It may be a little chilly these days, but don’t let that stop you from heading over to NEVEUX Artisan Creamery (7407 1/2 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, 90046; 323.951.1002), newly opened in West Hollywood. This spot is a rarity…a quiet spot on Melrose? Yes, it’s cozy, inviting and has one of the best lattes this city has to offer.
The ice cream? It made me speechless (which never happens). They have creamy flavors that rotate when they run out and are made right in the shop. Some of the ones you have to try are Salted Caramel, Rosemary Butterscotch, Coconut Curry, and finish with the Caliente Cinnamon Chocolate, which will knock your socks off. I have never had spicy ice cream before, nor did I expect it to be insanely delicious and it was.
