The Lab Brewing Co., (30105 Agoura Rd., Agoura Hills, 91301; 818.735.0091) opened last Friday with three ingredients: beer, food and music. As they like to call the “trifecta of entertainment.” They have five beers brewed in-house, more than 25 microbrews on tap and an upscale farm to table, gastropub menu.
As for home brews, chose from hopped up IPA Bad Influence to their strong Take Her Home Belgian Tripel. They all pack quite a punch, plus you can talk to the head brewer, Roger and get a tour. Or, just look around, because large copper fermentation vessels align the restaurant. Their menu includes BBQ duck quesadillas, venison white bean chili, Kobe meatloaf, white lasagna and Alaskan cod in a hazelnut sage brown butter sauce.
