The Standard (550 S Flower St., Los Angeles, 90071; 213.892.8080) downtown has added a rooftop biergarten with a German menu of currywurst, bratwurst, weisswurst, Bitburger Premium Pils, Licher Hefeweizenand a dark Kostritzer. The area has a grassy patch, communal tables and fooseball. Buy tickets ($8) at the rooftop booth and one ticket affords either two sausages, a salad, pretzel, glass of beer, or wine. The views though, those are priceless. Open 12 pm-1 am daily.
