One Eyed Gypsy (901 E 1st; Downtown) is a carnival themed bar with performances in rooms with hand drawn wallpaper, chandeliers made from Bedouin jewelry, and pictures of medusa. Expect fried food glory with corn dogs, sweet potato tots and funnel cakes. Also nosh on reuben pizza with sauerkraut, corned beef, and thousand island. To go with your corn dog, drink a sloe gin float with cider, sweet & sour or the Riddler’s Punch (vodka, red wine, blood orange, lemon & lime, bitters). As for entertainment, enjoy indie rock bands, ukelele players and magicians or predict your future with the fortune-teller machine and love-o-meter. Don’t miss out on the two skee ball machines. They give out tickets redeemable for drinks & food. I mean you can never have enough corn dogs.
