Larder at Maple Drive (345 N Maple Dr., suite 100, Beverly Hills; 310.248.3779) is launching tomorrow and its a miniature version of the Larder at Tavern in Brentwood. The tiny cafe is located in the courtyard of 345 N. Maple Dr., and the bakery/cafe/marketplace will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner to-go. I emphasis tiny, meaning it is more of a take out place even though there are a few small tables.
Their breads and pastries are all baked on site, and expect farm-to-table sandwiches, salads, etc. You can chose to make your own or maybe try The Pilgrim (roasted turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing) or The Laurel Canyon (avocado, feta yogurt, sprouts).
Salad lovers (me) try the chopped vegan Cobb or spanish tuna with shell beans and marinated tomato. Takeaways include grilled hanger steak with roasted carrots, or splurge on homemade pastries, and jams.
