They are ringing in 2018 with “A Taste of Emilia Romagna,” a special menu based on one of chef-owner Akasha Richmond’s favorite regions in Italy. Many products used for the menu are from her recent trip to Italy, including special cheeses and balsamico. Antipasti highlights include zuppa de castagna (chestnut soup); a small plate of Parmigiano Reggiano; and erbazzone, a savory pie with winter greens. Main courses include wild mushroom lasagna, tagliatelle, and lentil ragu with braised greens, a traditional Italian good luck dish. Dessert is zuppa inglese, an Italian dessert with vanilla & chocolate pastry cream and amaro-soaked sponge cake.
