Caruso Affiliated, one of the largest, privately held real estate development companies in the U.S., announced that Blue Ribbon Restaurants, will open its first California location at The Grove this spring. Founded by chefs Eric and Bruce Bromberg, Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill will serve up sushi, sashimi and Blue Ribbon signature cooked dishes including famous beef marrow bones, fried chicken with wasabi honey, and miso lobster among other favorites.
In addition to sushi, Blue Ribbon will serve cooked Japanese items like Maine lobster steamed with miso butter, their award-winning Fried Chicken “Blue Ribbon Style” accented with wasabi honey, Wagyu ribeye with enoki ponzu and sea salt, and broiled Atlantic Salmon with steamed bean sprouts, watercress and teriyaki sauce. The menu will be divided into numerous categories headlined by Sushi Bar assortments and platters including, “Toshi’s Choice” Omakase and also features appetizers, salads, fish & shellfish, poultry, tempura & fryer, rice, noodles & vegetables, steaks, chops & lobster, Sunomono, and Osuimono, In addition, a special sushi and sashimi menu includes an array of Atlantic and Pacific delicacies, as well as Maki (House Special Rolls), Yasai (Vegetable Rolls), and Hakozushi (Box Sushi).
Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill will feature outdoor seating adjacent to The Grove’s famed dancing fountain and will be designed by Asfour Guzy Architects, a New York design office founded in 1988 by partners Edward Asfour and Peter Guzy.
