Croft Alley (8428 Melrose Pl, Unit E, Los Angeles, CA 90069) lives in a little Melrose Place courtyard (next to one of my faves, Alfred Coffee) and they are opening tomorrow. It’s a rustic spot that feels more like a friend’s apartment than a new eatery. With wooden floors and counter top, a brick patio, an antique radio, ceramic plates and wine in mason jars, you will feel right at home.
As for the menu, munch on Soft-shell-crab banh mi; egg sandwiches; duck prosciutto; beignets with housemade fig jam; rapini pizzette; and bao burger.
