Pitfire Artisan Pizza Hits Manhattan Beach

Pitfire Artisan Pizza, the Los Angeles-based restaurant company known for its signature rustic, fire pizzas, and handcrafted cuisine with simple fresh ingredients, will officially open its Manhattan Beach location at 11 am on Wednesday, January 30. To celebrate the opening, Pitfire has partnered with Manhattan Beach’s Walk with Sally, and will donate 100% of the net proceeds from opening day to the charity. Walk with Sally is an organization dedicated to providing mentoring support programs to children of parents or siblings with cancer-one child at a time, one heart at a time.

Designed by Anthony Agriam, the Manhattan Beach restaurant features Pitfire’s signature red wood-fired kiln, and indoor/outdoor seating for an inviting, social environment. Highlights from the menu include variations of pizza, each cooked in a 630˚F wood-fired oven, including the Burrata Pie with housemade fresh burrata cheese, wild arugula, caramelized onions, and whole hazelnuts atop sweet tomato sauce, drizzled with a crushed pesto sauce. The restaurant also offers salads, pasta dishes, and panini, including the Hand Chopped Salad with crunchy lettuce, garbanzo and cannellini beans, red onion, cherry tomato, provolone cheese, roasted corn, pepperoncini, and olives; and Spaghetti and Chicken Meatballs. Complementing the cuisine, you have your choice of rotating on-tap brews, domestic and craft bottle varieties, wine selections by the glass or the bottle, and housemade Sangria.

Open Sunday-Thursday, 11 am-10 pm; Friday-Saturday, 11 am-11 pm; 401 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach, CA 90266; 310.359.9555
