Since then, Sofitel has also opened an online boutique where the public can purchase its most successful products such as its base, mattress, topper and comforters. A winning combination that raises the brand’s prestige.

2009

OÙ SOFITEL LEGEND, SYMBOLE SOFITEL LEGEND, A SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE, IS BORN. These are one-of-a-kind hotels that each have a legendary history and provide an exceptional level of personalized service. The first hotel in this category was the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi, which was built in the early 20th century.

2010’s

SOFITEL ELEVATES ITS BRAND STANDARDS and leverages its hotel network to offer its guests an ever more luxurious experience. Impeccable comfort and service are a given at every Sofitel hotel across the world, and the experience is enhanced by new key partnerships with Le Petit Prince and the Antoine de Saint Exupéry Youth Foundation, Hainan Airlines, and even Vogue.

The pandemic years

TRAVELERS ARE UNDER LOCKDOWN AT THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE WORLD. Yet global demand for luxury hospitality is far from stagnating, and Accor decides to strengthen even more Sofitel to ensure the brand emerges from the pandemic stronger than ever.

To top it all off, the year will see a host of openings and the renovation of a number of iconic properties.
